Days are getting longer, weathers getting better and summers is just around the corner. It's a great time to think about getting the garden in order ready for a long summers worth of play, and what do children prefer better than a slide or outdoor playset.
To a young child the summit of the slide seems like the top of the world and they all enjoy being King or Queen of the castle.
There's a great variety in the types of slide you can get. Either a water slide, or wavy slide, slides with towers, inflatable slide or the regular old wooden garden slide.
A slide is a great way to keep your children active and fit. Playing outside in the garden is great exercise in the warm weather, and if it starts to rain some slides can even be brought indoors and the fun can continue without getting wet.
Toddler slides are great for little ones first slide experience. Low to the ground and with only a few steps, there brilliant for building up and encouraging confidence.
When there a bit older they can graduate onto a full size slide or even a garden swing. You can even purchase slide extensions for certain models to make the slide even longer, and prevent older children from getting bored prolonging the use of your slide even more.
The great thing is that once there assembled that's it all the work is done, and the kids can get down to having some serious fun.
